Gaming should be entertainment, not income. Never wager money you cannot afford to lose. If play stops feeling optional, use the tools below or speak with lounge staff immediately.

Our approach

Marroway operates a small table-games lounge — not a floor of machines or aggressive promotions. We cap capacity, post clear limits, train staff to intervene early, and keep the lounge physically separate from guest rooms so that choosing to play remains exactly that: a choice.

Before you visit

  • Set a budget. Decide in advance what you are willing to spend for the session, separate from lodging and dining costs.
  • Set a time limit. The lounge closes by 2:00 a.m. on peak nights; plan your session with a personal cutoff earlier if helpful.
  • Understand the games. Ask dealers to explain rules and house edges before you sit. We do not offer credit play.
  • Avoid alcohol impairment. Complimentary bar service is limited; staff may decline service or pause play if impairment is observed.

On-site tools

  • Session limits. Request a voluntary spend or time cap at the desk before sitting. Staff will notify you when the limit is reached.
  • Cooling-off breaks. Take a mandatory 30-minute break from the floor at any time by asking a supervisor — no explanation required.
  • Self-exclusion. Exclude yourself for a chosen period (minimum six months) or indefinitely. Exclusion applies to the Marroway lounge and is recorded to prevent re-entry for the duration.
  • Third-party exclusion. With documentation, a family member may initiate a referral review for guest protection in accordance with local regulation.

Staff responsibilities

Dealers and floor supervisors are trained to recognize signs of distress, chasing losses, or impaired judgment. They may suggest breaks, enforce limits, or exclude a guest for the evening. These actions are supportive, not punitive. Security will assist with removal if conduct threatens others.

Underage and misrepresentation

Entry requires valid photo ID. Underage persons are not permitted on the lounge floor at any time. Falsified ID will be confiscated where permitted by law and incidents may be reported to authorities.
